The Mission
Your Destiny Quest giver wants you to collect the Phoenix of the South. To do so, first you need to go to Khopshef Province to speak with Anata.
Once you find Anata, she sends you onward to the Blessed Caves there in Khopshef. Go to the climbing point in the stone wall (coordinates X: 719, Y: 982) and climb up. You will end up just south of the entrance. Run north along the stone ramp you're on to the trap door entrance of the Blessed Caves.
Boss: Black Ring Arch Mage
The escaped villager inside tells you about the Black Ring Arch Mage boss and how you can stop the Blood Defiler Guardian boss by poisoning it with lotus. You must collect three lotus samples in order to proceed. You may find these at coordinates (X: 301, Y: 334), (X: 305, Y: 308), and (X: 323, Y: 183) in the cave. Make sure to kill as many slaves as possible along the way.

Once you have collected all of the lotus, you will want to locate the alter at coordinates (X: 259, Y: 307). Before you can access the altar, however, the Black Ring Arch Mage runs out and stands in front of the altar. This is an easy fight for any class and simply consists of doing enough damage to kill him. No special techniques are needed for this fight.
When the boss is dead, click on the altar to trigger a cut scene that will show you where to find the final boss: The Blood Defiler Guardian.
Boss: Blood Defiler Guardian
You find the Blood Defiler Guardian standing in a fountain of blood and an area nearby to the left that is protected by a spell shield. This fight is unique because the Blood Defiler Guardian will knock you back three times during the fight and then run to the blood pool he was standing to heal himself to 100%.
Start attacking the boss in any manner that you wish. It really does not matter which method you choose, whether magical or with a two-handed axe. After you have beaten the boss down to a certain point, you will get knocked backward and the boss runs to his blood pool. Once the boss is at full health again, it will start attacking you. The second time the boss knocks you back, his health will be lower than it was the first time. Again, the boss will run to his blood pool and heal up. The third time the boss knocks you down, his health will be the lowest it has ever been thus far. Once he is healed, he is back to attacking you. At this point you will be able to kill him.
The Phoenix Of The South
Now that the boss is dead, go to that pillared area nearby that was being protected by the spell shield. The spell shield will be gone and it is there you will be able to collect the Phoenix of the South.
To get out of this place, go back to where the Blood Defiler Guardian was and jump over the ledge into the pool of water below. Once you have oriented yourself, swim into the cave you will see just left of one of the two waterfalls. Doing so will allow you to exit the instance.
Return to your quest giver, who tells you to come back once you have hit level 50.
