We are always looking for mature people of all levels and classes involved in PVE, Raids, and 6-Mans. We will not shun anyone interested in RolePlay or PVP, however. They, too are welcome to join us. We welcome old-timers and new-comers alike, and even people that have left the game, came back, and have to re-learn a lot of what they forgot. Both free-to-play and subscription members are welcome, as we do not discriminate.

The Golden Hand is a community, though we are always willing to help non-guild members when possible. It is our goal to ensure that people have a great gaming experience and to provide a home for those looking to get away from most of the things that make people want to leave games. A community might not be your thing, and that is okay with us. You will never be forced to remain in our guild, nor pressured to join us. You will also never be pressured to help someone if you cannot provide the help that is needed. Should you choose to join us, we welcome you with open arms.

A few more things to know about us:

We are not a PVP guild, though we will not shun you if you choose to participate in such things.

We are primarily a PVE guild. While some of our members do RolePlay, it is not required of you, and never will you see RolePlay in Guild Chat.

We are not a "family friendly" guild. Cursing is not banned from guild chat or vent. This is not a license for members to use blatantly racist terms towards others, however.

This Golden Hand has five very important rules for its new, old, and prospective members. These rules also apply to our vent channels:

1. Leave Your Drama At The Door.

First and foremost, we are here to have fun. If you are looking for a place in which to start crap between members or between members and non-members, this guild is not for you. I promise you, no one wants to be drawn into your elaborate dramas. We play this game to get away from garbage like that.

2. NO CHILDREN.

I cannot stress this enough: The game is rated M for Mature (17+) for a reason. We DO NOT ALLOW children into this guild. NO EXCEPTIONS. You must be 18 years of age or older. This guild is NOT "family friendly." We are a group of mature adults, whether 18 or 50, and are not looking to deal with children on the game.

3. NO Emo.

If you are playing this game, you should be an adult and definitely over the whole teen angst thing. Please keep such things outside of the guild.

4. NO Frat Boys.

You may think that lighting farts on fire is the funniest thing in the world, saying "dude" and "bro" in every sentence is the "cool thing to do," and that all chicks just need to get laid and you are the one to do it. We are smart enough to recognize that you live in a sad existence. Frat boys are not welcome to join us.

5. NO Douchebags or Douchebaggery.

Being a douchebag (aka committing douchebaggery) usually amounts to someone being such a complete asshole that no other word describes him/her other than "douchebag." Douchebags are generally very contemptable people and are definitely not welcome in the Golden Hand. We are here to help, not to hinder. A great example of douchebaggery: Purposefully telling someone all of the wrong things to do as a tank so that the person will fail in their efforts for one reason or another.
