What are Tradeskills?
Tradeskills are special skillsets that allow you to harvest things such as oak and granite. They also allow you to do things such as make armor and weapons, craft gems, and build guild cities.
Some mobs drop special recipes that cannot be found other than by killing a mob. These recipes are generally bind-on-pickup, so you should never pick up a recipe unless you have the tradeskill that the recipe is for.
* Architect allows you to build the resources necessary to create a guild city. It is not recommended that you take this tradeskill unless you are going to be the architect for your guild. Most guilds assign only one person to be the architect, which is usually the guild leader himself/herself.
* Armorsmithing allows you to create armor.
* Gemcrafting allows you to create gems that can be placed into gem slots on armor and weapons.
* Weaponsmithing allows you to create weapons.
When can I begin learning Tradeskills?
