How do I check my mail or bank account?
Speak with a Trader.
What are the "home cities," and when and how do I get there?
The four "home cities" are Old Tarantia, Khemi, Conarch Village, and Gateway to Khitai (which is not inside of the Godslayer expansion that adds Khitai).
The earliest that you may leave Tortage is level 15, and the latest is level 25. Upon leaving Tortage (whether via the smuggler or completing the Night quests), you will be transported to your character's "home city" depending upon what you chose at character creation.
An Aquilonian character goes to Old Tarantia, a Cimmerian character goes to Conarch Village, a Khitan character goes to Gateway to Khitai, and a Stygian character goes to Khemi.
Where do I find better armor and weaponry?
1) Quest completion may grant a piece of armor or weapon.
2) Speak with an NPC (non-played character) Armorsmith or Weaponsmith merchant.
3) Kill things in PVE, Raids, or 6-Mans.
4) Use Funcom points to purchase something from the game store. Press the comma key ( , ) to access the store from the character select screen or while logged onto a character.
5) You may check the Guild Bank from a Trader for free blue gear. If you see something you want for your guild character, send Charayne / Kyna a tell.
When can I get a mount and what does it cost?
You may purchase a mount at level 40 in one of the "home cities," (Old Tarantia, Khemi, or Conarch Village) from a horse vendor. These vendors sell several different varieties of horse. If you are not level 80, you will only be able to use the Basic Riding Ability, which gives you a horse that travels at normal speed.
A level 80 character has more options. In addition to being able to purchase a normal horse in a home city, a level 80 character may also purchase the Advanced Riding consumable. This allows a horse to be turned into a swift mount and gives the horse the ability to kick an enemy.
A level 80 can also obtain an armored horse from a vendor within a guild city, provided the guild has a high enough renown to have said vendor.
A level 80 can obtain a mount from doing Factions quests in Khitai, provided the Rise of the Godslayer expansion was purchased.
One last note: The in-game Funcom store offers a variety of additional mounts to players in exchange for Funcom Points.
When do I get a cape?
You receive your first cape in-game at level 40.
