The following information is a break-down of the Raid Loot System.
How To Acquire Relics
Quests
- There are some quests that can be received and/or discovered in Thoth Amon's that give Token/Relic Rewards upon completion.
Raiding
- Simple Relics I drop in Tier 1 Raid Encounters
- Simple Relics II drop in Black Ring Citidel
- Simple Relics III drop in Thoth Amon's Stronghold
- Rare Relics drop in Thoth Amon's Stronghold, Khitai Godslayer mode six-man instances, and Refuge of the Apostate
Urns
- In addition to getting Relics from Raid Boss Encounters throughout Hyboria, a player can also get relics from Urns. These Urns drop just like items in treasure chests and are NEED/GREEDable.
Please keep in mind that some of them are specific to archetype (i.e Soldier, Mage, Rogue, etc). If you happen to win one of these Urns, you will be rewarded with 10 Tokens, possibly more. Right now this only applies to Tier 3 Raid encounters.
Trader of Fortunes
- You may exchange Marks of Accalim for relics at the Trader of Fortunes.
- These traders are located in: Kara Korum (Fengdu), Northern Grasslands (Pin-Pin), and Old Tarantia
How Many Relics (Tokens) Can You Get From A Raid Instance?
Tier 1: Each Raid Boss will drop between one and three Tokens that 24 people will either have to Need/Greed on.
Tier 2: Each Raid Boss will drop between one and three Tokens that 24 people will either have to Need/Greed on.
Tier 3: Each Raid Boss will drop between one and three Tokens for each player. Tier 3 also grants Tokens through Urns and Quests.
What Are The Purchase Costs For Tier 1 Epic Gear?
You may purchase raid armor using relics.
Each armor set requires a set number of "Relics" (aka Tokens) and gold pieces (aka "gp" aka money) to purchase them.
Armguards: ( 4 x Simple Relic I ) + 2 gp
Boots: ( 6 x Simple Relic I ) + 2 gp
Chestguard: ( 6 x Simple Relic I ) + 2 gp
Gauntlets: ( 4 x Simple Relic I ) + 2 gp
Girdle: ( 4 x Simple Relic I ) + 2 gp
Helm: ( 6 x Simple Relic I ) + 2 gp
